Oral language will remain the major focus of activities. At TWIS daycare program, the child will spend their day in partial immersion in French and partial immersion in English. French will remain predominant and will be inspired in its approach by French programs while retaining its influence from the Cambridge Early Age Curriculum in order to facilitate learners with a better transition to the Cambridge Primary Program.
Allow each child to participate in verbal exchanges in the class and include language activities in real communication situations.
Support young children in their first learning of language: language in situation (i.e. directly articulate with the action or event in progress).
Create as many verbal exchange situations as possible for each child
Include language activities in the experience (verbalize actions) and increase interactions.
Make them play,
Pamper them,
Teach them basic rules of daily life,
Train them to move to the little corner (potty training),
Help them develop their daily language through conversations and thematic presentations based on concrete facts and imagery, through visits to nature, watering plants, visits to the school’s small farm, etc. ..
Through gatherings to exercise their vocal cords and strengthen their ability to communicate.
Through routine practices and rituals around first names, the weather, storage and classification, location in time and space…

There are three daycare enrollment forms required by your child:
- The registration form
- The permission to treat form
Your child must be at least 3 years old to enroll in the Nursery program.
