World Environment Day Recap

Two Wings International School (TWIS) joined the entire
world in commemorating World Environment Day on June 5, 2025. Our teachers and
learners took time to play their part in protecting the environment by learning
environmentally safe practices, planting trees, and advocating for the natural
environment.

As an innovative education provider, we take
environmentalism as a part of the foundational development of our learners. We
know the impact of climate change and ensure that our learners know that
protecting the environment is not just a good thing for today but the best way
to preserve their future.

Using art, music, and literacy, we had students create their
own educational material about environmentally safe practices, how to combat
climate change, and even participated in a tree-planting exercise. Our
philosophy is that primary school is the foundation of human development; from
an early age, children must understand the world around them to grow into
upstanding members of society. Activities like World Environment Day allow
children to gain more knowledge, participate in real-life issues, and advocate
for a better planet.

We would like to thank everyone who participated and cheered
on our learners as they took the lead in advocating for environmental
protection.
